Core Skills are the most basic mechanics in the game and many skills are based on these.

Health and Armor

When the HP of a Monster Card reaches 0, the monster is destroyed.
Armor
Armor
Physical and true damage will damage Armor first. When an attack would make Armor reach 0 or less, all exceeding damage is absorbed.

Damage Types

Melee
Deals physical damage to the enemy its facing from the front row. Does not ignore Armor.
Ranged
Ranged
Deals physical damage from the back row. This attack has 25% chance of being blocked if the target have Armor. This damage type will prioritize a enemy in this monster's diagonal. If there is no enemy on this monster's diagonal, then it will attack the one it's facing. If this condition isn't met, it will instead attack a enemy in the front row.
Magic
Magic
Deals spell damage to the monster it's facing. Ignores Armor.
Random Damage
Random
Deals a random amount of true damage, between 1 and X, to a random enemy. Does not ignore Armor.

Healing Types

Recovers HP of the most injured ally monster. Does not surpass Maximum HP.
Group Heal

Recovers HP of all allied monsters. Does not surpass Maximum HP.

Trivia

  • In older versions, Random Damage was called Chaos. This was changed to avoid confusion, as Chaos Faction have the same name.
